Mobility & Frailty

Our Mobility & Frailty Rehabilitation service is designed to support older adults, or anyone experiencing reduced strength, stability, or confidence in their movement. We work with people living with age-related deconditioning, balance difficulties, falls risk, joint stiffness, weakness, or general deconditioning following illness, surgery, or time spent in hospital. We also regularly support individuals with multiple or complex health conditions, as well as those who simply want to stay active and independent for as long as possible.

We understand that small changes in strength or balance can have a big impact on day-to-day life, making tasks such as walking, climbing stairs, or shopping more difficult. Our aim is to help you move safely and confidently, reducing your risk of falls and maintaining your independence at home and in the community.

We always aim to safely challenge our clients within a supportive environment that encourages progress and builds confidence. When beneficial, we may involve more than one member of our team during your sessions, ensuring you have the right level of physical support and motivation as you work towards your goals.

Our team uses a blend of strength and balance training, functional mobility exercises, gait re-education, and endurance work, all tailored to your individual ability and pace. We may also focus on sit-to-stand practice, walking aids assessment, and confidence-building activities to help you feel secure and capable in your everyday movements.

Every programme is personalised, taking into account your medical background, home environment, and personal objectives. Whether your goal is to reduce your risk of falls, get back to enjoying walks outside, or simply move with greater ease around your home, we’ll guide you step by step with care, patience, and evidence-based practice.
